MLB has announced beta release version of a fully automated image stitching and geo-referencing software suite for use with the Bat 3 aerial mapping system. This software allows operators to stitch 500 images/hour in the field using a laptop PC and display the results in Google Earth or an MLB provided image viewer. This system is ideal for military, disaster response, firefighting, or any customer that needs to create high-resolution maps in the field.
